Vinyl covers have long been the sanctuary of cool type/lettering. These are a few that I found particularly interesting. I don't even listen to all of these bands/dj's, and even between their individual 12" releases they're not all that exciting, but these are. I'm really digging the Reverso 68 that looks like something out of a handwriting instructional manual for first graders, the really bizarre and minimal Booka Shade, and the extremely playful hand-lettered covers perfectly befitting a band like CSS.
