No.14. Retna AWR, I am at a complete loss for words

I owe to graffiti, largely, my love of letters; to graphic design I owe a love of type. Is there a difference? Type, primarily refers to letters that have been manufactured primarily for the purpose of mass or applied production (eg., graphic design, printing, etc.). Letters, well, that encompasses all of it. And Retna AWR is one of the most prolific and skilled writer of letters; he is a master of its form, color, style, and space. Like his peers in the rest of the Seventh Letter crew — he's accomplished this much under the duress of doing it illegally, but unlike many graffiti writers — his work has made a very easy and natural transition to the gallery.
